Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Reported vehicle leaking gasoline. Found Ford Econoline wheelchair van on level parking lot with gasoline leaking from fuel tank fill assembly. Fd refused to allow user (son of owner) to drive the van due to fire hazard. Van towed to local service garage. Fuel fill assembly was after market instalation, combination of pipes, fittings, hoses and clamps. With unloaded vehicle on level parking lot a portion of the fill hose was approximately two inches above the rear axel. Hose showed signs of contact with axel. Gasoline appeared to be leaking from this hose. Fd took pictures. Fd spoke with owner, user and Mr. Mark lore, president of ride-A-way vans.
