Escape Hybrid
Like similar cases noted on this web site, our 2005 Ford Escape's rear window completely shattered for no apparent reason. I was driving approx. 70 km/hr on a nice Fall day when it exploded loudly and shattered into a million pieces. It sounded like a gun going off. Wires and rear center brake light were left hanging by wires. I drove to the Ford dealer who said it was not covered, even under my extended warranty. I am having it repaired through my insurance, with a $500 deductible.
