Escort Pony 1.9L 4 cyl

Starts and idles fine (fuel injector is getting correct reading) when reved loses signals and it sputters upon letting of the gas it returns to normal. computer read out said vat sensor and if this model has one I cant find it. anyway please help. if you know a detailed solution send a comment using the link below
