Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

2001 Ford Excursion Owner Comments

This vehicle has been at dealership with a rumbling noise coming from somewhere in the drivetrain. Rearend has been replaced, transmission has been replaced, dampners in exhaust, and now the rearend again is out to put shims in it. The noise is still there at approx. 42 mph. We want to trade the vehicle for another Excursion but the dealer came out with a crazy trade amt. We wanted a new Excursion because we do not want a vehicle that has been ripped apart 4 times, and for resale reasons. The dealership and mfg doesn't seem to care and I have been a Ford owner for 25 years..
