I have heard from the mechanic that this is an issue with this motor and that Ford hasn't put in a recall notice on this. I have owned a Explorer, Expedition and now an excursion and haven't had to put this kind of money into any of my Ford's. I sure hope that Ford quits being cheap and covers this issue.
