Paint on hood and doors of car started to bubble with moisture under the clear coat. Within a few days the water dried up and the clear coat started to break off the car.
Only serviced by Ford dealer. Orig dealer sold dealership to current dealer in fall 2010. Never noticed the problem until Nov 20. Consulted with my son who has the identical car (different color) plus sun roof. He was not aware that it was a problem until I sent message. His car is black. He wire brushed the rust spots and painted them black.
I am distressed as a long time Ford owner to have a product problem such as this. Car is garaged at all times except when on trips.
The fact that Ford issued a service bulletin on the problem does not make me very happy since neither I nor my son were contacted by Ford. Our car is in excellent physical condition except for the rust bubbles along the front of the hood.
I will report a different recurring problem with the dash module.
