I had stopped to check on another motorist who had slid off the road in the snow. I accelerated quickly since I was on the interstate and the car took off on it's own. It kept accelerating and was up to about 75 mph when I pushed on the brake and pulled over the best I could. I turned off the car and restarted it. Once I put it into drive, it took off on it's own because the pedal was still stuck....this happen twice. I finally reached down and pulled the pedal up and regained control.
