2 years after I bought the car, I noticed that the rear section would get a lot of water inside after it rained. I complained to Ford, no resolution. I took it to a repair shop. They had it for 2 days, removed the headliner, did all kinds of test and could not figure out what or how to fix the issue. I searched the internet and found that Ford had a recall for such a thing, HOWEVER, it only was covered in you lived in the mid-west, east coast and mountain states where you get a lot of rain.CALIFORNIA WAS EXEMPT! I wonder what politicians Ford paid off in California.
As a result, my local dealer REFUSED TO DEAL WITH IT, and would not even look at it.
I fix the leak. I disconnected the sun roof switch, then I caulked the entire edge of the sun roof 5 years ago. NO LEAKS, but a sun roof that is unusable!
