Ok...got the wife this Black Ford Freestyle with leather and all the fixins...it's what she wanted, had 3 row seating, DVD, leather, all wheel drive, the works.

She's driving down the road and has the window cracked a little bit to allow fresh air in. She goes to "1 Touch Up" the driver window and it starts to go up and then immediately starts right back down.

It has happened in the snow, in the rain, in any and all weather.

We took it to the dealership where we bought it because there is a service bulletin about this specific issue. We printed the service bulletin and gave it to the service writer and they assured us everything would be taken care of.

The wife goes out 3 days later to pick it up because they told us they were done with it and when she went to pick it up, they told her that they did NOT fix the window because they couldn't get the window to do it for them. BOY DOES THAT SUCK OF THEM!!! Don't they know that cars NEVER have the problem when they go to the shop.

I guess what really pissed me off is that there have been enough people bitch about this issue for them to create a service bulletin about it and the dealership wouldn't take care of it because it didn't do it for them.

I classify this as a substantial safety issue because if she is trying to roll the window up during a heavy rain and a truck passes her and abruptly soaks her, makes her swerve and wreck, I'm gonna Own this dealership.

I am taking the car back to them myself and will stand there in the service line and hold it up, all day if necessary, while the guy works my window button until he gets it to malfunction for him...then hopefully they will fix it.
