It overheated and I replaced the thermostat and added prestone 50/50 to replace the fluids. It still overheats. I let it cool and opened the cap. I started it and watched the water level. It burped some bubbles and went down a little then the water level came back up and out spilling onto the ground. It has a new thermostat..... is there something else I should look at?

My son's car began to overheat. Checked all the usual things, water level, thermostat to no avail. Started looking at the cooling fans at his radiator. Noticed that the fans never came on even after the engine reached cut on levels. Checked and found that the fan's plug wasn't making a good connection. Something so minor that makes a huge difference. Hope this helps.
