My car ran hot on an interstate...in the middle of nowhere after the mechanic said he had it fixed. Called a wrecker & etc. {which I had to pay for} and back to the mechanic. When I picked the car up he said something may go wrong with this car, but overheating will not be it.
Well guess what..it did. Next time took it to a Ford dealership...spent quite a bit there too. Water hoses much be very expensive. Now it doesn't want to crank when the engine has been running and I smell that burnt engine smell...if only I could find a trustworthy mechanic, what a blessing that would be. Someone who knew the problem, fixed it for sure and didn't make you rob the bank to pay for it all. It runs good; not sure how, but I have tried to have the nice little car fixed...I feel so badly for it and my pocketbook.
