Rear electric sliding door (drivers side) won't unlock half the time, even after cleaning mechanism. Door sometimes does not close fully, but the monitoring system says it is closed?? Sometimes the monitoring system says various doors are open, when they are closed fully.

I have two small children. One is four. The other is one. I found completely unamusing when I couldn't unlock the back doors to get my children out. I found fighting with it and saying words of which small children should never hear (and they will repeat) will eventually get it to open. If you have the same try my husbands method. He disassembled the door panel and cleaned the locking mechanism. It works perfectly again. Of course until the dust collects again...
