I traded in a Buick Enclave for a GMC Acadia. First time washing my 2018 Acadia after purchase in in April 2018. On June 12th. 2018 after washing the Acadia I then drove it to my mothers house after a short visit with mom I start to drive it home and BOY the thing went crazy. Showing all kinds of codes and won't go any where. It tells me to put it in park........it is already in park. Get out of the Acadia and just standing there puzzled, all of a sudden it STARTS ALL BY IT'S SELF! (CRAZY)!
I call dealer, then had it towed to them. In the next 4 weeks I have a loaner car while waiting on a part over seas off the assembly line (UGH!) A cracked sunroof channel leaked water into the electrical box on front passenger side. I am so worried I will have future ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS with corrosion, now that electrical box has been wet.
Next Issue Aug 31, 1018 has a little over 5,000 miles on Acadia. The 3rd. brake light started leaking rain water inside of hatch window. Take it in after labor day Sept. 6 they say it will be ready next day. Next day......NO, part not in yet, be here next day (Not), fast forward to Monday Sept. 10th. part still not in.
Dealer maintenance calls Thursday Sept 13 part not in yet come get Acadia with temporary patch job to prevent leaking and bring back in for correct repair when part comes in. Is it another case of getting the part yanked off the assembly line OVER SEAS AGAIN? Blast It, &@#! Had this vehicle 5 months it's been in the shop 5 weeks of those 5 months.
I've had 2 road trips scheduled this year in the Acadia and did not get to use this new SUV on either trip! "I WANT MY BUICK BACK"!!!!!!!!! :( :( :( VERY Frustrated in MO
