Power steering has went out multiple times when turning in parking lots. Without power steering its very hard to navigate the truck especially when you don't expect it to go out. No warning lights came on and power steering goes back to working fine after these episodes
The first issue is popping coming from the front end of the vehicle causing a steering issue. This has been "repaired" multiple times with no resolution. Every time the popping occurs which is almost every turn the steering wheel will not turn. The next issue is the radio is causing driver distraction by changing stations and screens not just on the display itself but the instrument cluster as well. The radio has been replaced once due to the fact it was on backorder for 6 months another attempt has not been made. The third issue is the brakes have failed at slow speeds no warning lights were on, they just stopped working in the Mcdonald's drive-through. I had to get out of line to keep from rear-ending the person in front of me. Now, after that experience, the ABS light has come on and the service StabiliTrak flashes on the dash as well as parking assist off, everytime I hit the brakes..
Lost power steering and engine died while turning into lot across oncoming lanes. Oncoming traffic luckily stopped and I placed truck in park, restarted and completed my turn. 4th time I lost power steering and truck died.

At times my vehicle will lose power steering, turns off stabilizer traction control light comes on.There is no warning and does this more at low speed turning.you can't turn the steering wheel when this happens and the breaks hardly work.I have 30,000 miles on vehicle I had this vehicle towed to dealership in 2016 they charged me diagnosed but didn't tell me anything more it's only been to the shop for recalls I do my own maintenance

Power steering goes out and at time turn truck power off whenever i attempt a slow tight turn like backing into my driveway or making tight turns going into parking lots and/or spaces. Most recently, when attempting a u-turn at a busy intersection, power steering went out and engine died. I had to coast to the side to avoid moving traffic. Each time this issue happens i hear 3 dings all my dash & screen lights flash off then on with clicking noises. Dash info changes from speedometer to radio setting. If i look at screen quickly enough when this happens i would sometimes read -€œrear parking assist unavailable-€ or something like that. If air conditioning is on it would turn off then on. Doors will unlock then lock, all this happening simaltaneously while attempting to make a turn
While driving down the streets, truck loses all electrical power, loses power steering, radio, gauge cluster power and engine dies. Happened several times today. It immediately all comes back on(so far) but could definitely be a safety concern if the conditions were right.

Pickup has had reoccurring service power steering message come up in information center. Took to GM and they said it needed a new negative battery cable. Bought one and installed it. Still have the same problem. Upon dong some searching, its a very common problem among certain GM vehicles. One weekend the power steering quit working all together at 70 mph on a curve. Talk about scary! I called GM customer service to ask about coverage on the issue and was denied because my vehicle was not one affected by the suspect faulty parts. I am very disappointed in GM's lack of caring for my safety in this situation. Will not be purchasing another GM. If they no that this is their problem I truly believe they should stand behind their product and take care of their customers.
When turning the wheel sharply at low speeds, the power steering suddenly turns off, as well as all other electronics making the vehicle difficult to control and posing a safety risk.
At slow speeds, mainly when backing and turning wheel when going forward at very slow speed, steering loses power. Also some times hard to turn when vehicle not in motion at all. The last time it happened all interior lights and radio flashed totally off and right back on. I heard a dinging/warning noise and a warning message flashed but went off before I had a chance to read it.
While pulling into a parking lot ant a friend apartment I was turning into a parking spot when the truck completely died causing no power steering or braked nearly causing me to hit his neighbors car.
When at highway speeds of approximately 65+ mph the vehicle begins to vibrate or shake violently as if the rear end of the truck is about to fall out. It is bad enough to make you white knuckle the steering wheel cause you to swerve slightly
When exiting from one highway to another in heavy traffic were breaking was required, my trucks power steering and power brakes had completely gone out. I was on a straight track for a highway patrol who was standing outside his vehicle along with another motorist. After fighting to steer the truck while trying to brake to avoid hitting other motorists I realized that the truck had also died. Shook up and scared I started the truck and began to drive away with the officer yelling what the hell are you doing. The truck has done this several times. Three of which almost resulted in an accident. It has been in the dealership were they told me it was a high resistance in the negative battery cable which was replaced and resulted in no change.
I purchased a GMC Sierra 2015 regular cab from your company representative, aljomaih automotive company in the kingdom of saudi arabia. However, after a few months, I discovered that the vehicle had several defects, and it exposes its users to serious threat. After that, ministry of commerce in kingdom of saudi arabia has made several callsfor users of the same vehicle that they have to check with the representativeto fix the defect for free. However, the representative temporized and evaded, then I had to file a lawsuit against aljomaih automotive company, General Motors’'s representative in the kingdom of saudi arabia. The court ordered the experts' department to checkthe vehicle by five specialized workshops, and reports were issued unanimously on the following: "the defect in the mentioned vehicle is a factory defect, which was found in all vehicles of the same type and not only the mentioned vehicle". also, I have submitted report to the court from the General Motors website proving that the mentioned vehicle is faulty with three other defects. As well as, all six calls were issued by the ministry of commerce, including the mentioned vehicle, with the chassis number.

The contact was informed to schedule another appointment. The manufacturer assigned a case number to the contact and stated that an urgent senior representative would call the contact back. The failure mileage was 25,000. The VIN was unknown.
