Sometimes acts like the A/C is on, even when it's not (i.e. car not as powerful, cold air still coming through vents). Will often die when the car is idling. then the battery seems to drain because when it's acting up like this, I can't start it the next morning...absolutely no power...no lights, no sounds, nothing. Recently replaced the alternator, but even if that was the problem, what's up with the car acting like the a/c is on and cold air coming through vents when a/c's turned off? Mechanics are at a loss...and some are guessing at what the cause might be, but I want to be dang sure before I start dishing out the dough. Any ideas would be appreciated. oh yeah, and occasionally a belt will screech...only happened a few times in last 2 months.
