Civic EX 1.4L
While deployed overseas my wife would complain that when she would turn the key to the "on" position, all the gauges would go crazy. Turn the key off then back on and it would start normally. It was a fairly new car still and I really didn't believe her until I got back and drove the car to the base one day and it did the same thing except this time it didn't start. It just kept on doing the same thing over and over again. Called Honda's Roadside Assistance and told them to come get it as it was still under warranty and was told that they didn't offer towing for the Civic, only the Accord.Good thing we had USAA for insurance to come tow it to the dealer. Technicians swapped out the battery, good to go.
