On Dec 16th I was on my way to work, not 7 houses down from my home the airbag went off for no reason causing me to hit a parked car, is this an issue that the airbags are having? I now have legal problems because of this, I need to know if this has been reported to you prior.

Dear Sir, I am pleased to write to you with regards to my Honda Civic 2007. I have been happy to own this car since 2007 as the first and sole owner; moreover, I have regularly conducted the periodical maintenance for this car at the official dealer in Cairo. Please find hereunder my car information: • Date of purchase: 5 November 2007 • Chassis no.: 401654, and motor no.: 2003214. • Current Mileage = 80000 kilometer Unfortunately, while driving the car two days ago, and making a U-turn at the minimum speed you can ever imagine “10km/hour”, The Airbags suddenly were blown open in my face and also in my young daughter face. This happened without facing any sudden pumps in the road or strongly using the brakes on my part. When taking the car to the dealer, I was surprised to hear their reaction with the exact words: “It is your mistake, the car is already out of warranty and you have to pay around 5000$”. I hope you agree that the above reaction of your official dealer in Egypt is utterly unacceptable specially that there isn’t any damage indicating the need for the Air-bags to be blown open. My main objective of this massage is to insure the non-recurrence of this incident as it has put my physical and psychological safety in jeopardy, same goes for my family. Thanks in advance for your consideration and prompt response. Sincerely, Eng. Nader Fayez mobile +201110000067 ERP Application Manager Ministry of Telecommunication(MCIT) Arab republic of Egypt
