The bumper paint color difference seems to increase with time. Reported to the Dealer in January 2012 and on February 7, 2012 the District Service Manager inspected the car and stated "The color difference is due to the surfaces in which is painted on."
So if you buy a Honda it is OK for the plastic bumber cover to be a different shade than the rest of the body and a customer just needs to accept it.
Well, no thanks Honda North America, those two Korean car companies are doing a good job of matching their bumber covers. Too back Honda can't match on their products assembled in America. One dealer pointed me to the cars that come over from Japan. His statement was you do not see this difference on those cars.
