The paint has been peeling off the hood, trunk and roof of car progressively for past few years. I have seen many other Honda Civics with similar issue and very surprised there is not a recall on this.

Large blotches of oxidized paint on roof & trunk that is progressing rapidly. My wife brought it to the dealer who initially said that they would "take care of it". when she returned later, a manager told her that we would have to pay $1,300 to have it repainted. I was very alarmed to find many consumers on the web with the identical issue.

Several areas of the vehicle have begun to have paint crack and peel, including the hood, roof, trunk and quarter panels. Honda has admitted this was a defect, but you only had 7 yrs from the original date of purchase to file a claim which I was unaware until after this deadline.

There, S a defect in the-paint that was used on the car by the manufacter. The paint is coming off the roof of the car and around the back windshield. You can see where the paint has faded in those places. I have taken the car to the body shop and they have me advised me that there's a defect in the paint that the manufacter used on the Honda Civic 2010 models.. I would like for the manufacter to re-paint my car to fix the problem.

My car paint is beginning to peel and the dealer says since I am 7 days outside of the warranty, they will pay 35% of their estimate of 5600 to fix it. They will need 3 weeks to take care of it and will not pay for a loaner. They had my car a month ago for service and did not do a walk around which would have hopefully caught the problem while it was still covered. I am so upset with the dealership for missing such a big thing!

The sun visor on the driver side cracked and the seam, causing pieces to fall while the vehicle was in motion on a highway. The visor no longer remains in the proper position when not in use and obscures vision, particularly at night.

I had to replace the brakes on my Honda a year after purchase. No matter what breaks I replace them with the brakes seam to wear-out very fast. Since my purchase in 2010 I have replaced the breaks on the Honda several times (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), it almost seams to be needing replacement every year. Also since 2013, the paint on the car seams to be pealing, cracking, and has became very cloudy. I will not purchase a Honda again.

The motor mount on my 2010 Honda Civic needed to be replaced at approximately 45,000 miles. A quick search on the Honda forums revealed many other people complaining about this issue, some of whom have had to replace their motor mount multiple times. This would appear to be a known weakness in the design which Honda is not addressing for owners.

About (3 year warranty) 3 months after the warranty expired these white spots started the form on back and trunk of the car. The dealership claims it is wear N' tear but if you were to look up how long a paint job is suppose to last...should be 10+ years if properly done. The really should fix this problem for free but unfortunately they do not. Now I have to pay a significant about of money to prevent the entire vehicle from turning into swiss-cheese.

There have been three (3) front end collisions on this vehicle. 2 were deer related. The first accident was a deer hit, at 60 mph., body shop said because the deer hit directly in the center of the front of the car, airbags did not deploy. The second accident in November of 2012, daughter was traveling 69 mph on the interstate and swerved to avoid hitting a deer. She traveled approximately 300 feet down a ditch and back up the other side, striking an embankment, coming to rest 2 feet from oncoming traffic on the opposite side of the interstate. The Virginia state police officer said at the time, he couldn't believe the airbag didn't deploy. The front end of the car was totally disengaged from the car. The last accident, June 2013, younger daughter was involved in a 3 car accident. She rear ended the car ahead of her who had rear ended the car ahead of it. Wet roads were a factor, however, this was again a front end collision, with a speed of 40+ mph. While we are very thankful that no one was injured in any of these accidents, it's certain the airbag in this vehicle does not work.

I was parked in shopping center. I came out of cvs pharmacy and carefully backed my car out. I began a left turn lane (still in shopping center) not into main road and suddenly the car's speed escalated rapidly and I could not stop it - it jumped the curb and in trying to avoid hitting shops car crashed headlong into light pole. It would appear that the gas accelerator was stuck. The airbag came on and I was injured by that. The front end of auto was badly damaged. This is a Honda Civic 2010 and there was a crash and one person injured (me) which when I print this your form reverts to original form.

Good afternoon, my name is [xxx]and my husband and I leased a 2010 Honda Civic in February 2010 through randy kuehl Honda here in cedar rapids. Starting in April 2010, we have noticied problems with the body/metal/paint with the car. We feel our 2010 Honda Civic is not safe to drive and our afarid something is wrong with the metal of the car. On, June 14, 2010 while cleaning the car, my husband and I found another dent on what we believe is the passenger interior kick plate of the car. This dent just appeared and is a mystery. If our Honda was in a crash would it perform as the metal is denting for no reason. We also have dents on the truck and it appears to be getting worse. We also have three other paint/metal spots on the car too. We also demanded for the Honda rep to look at our car but this has not happened. I have also ask for a different car and Honda is not responding. We are now asking for a full refund of our lease as we paid for the full three year lease upfront. We also have spoken to the owner of the dealership but says we have to go through Honda. And the service manager also does not want to help. Please help us as we do not feel safe driving our leased Honda Civic as we do not know what will hapen next to the body structure, to the paint and what new dent will appear to the body of the car next.
