My 2011 civic si makes a popping noise while the wipers are running. Also there is a pop when the door unlock button is pressed and the ignition switch is turned off. Took to dealership and they were unable to isolate problem. Dealer called Honda tech support who also had no answer. I called Honda customer support and was referred to Reggie the case manager. After approx. Two weeks he told me that engineering determined that it was a characteristic of this type of vehicle to do this. Totally BS! I have filed a report with the NHTSB to document my issue. Honda is unwilling to come to any resolve on this. They are admitting a problem, but nice it affects all si models in 2011 they are labeling this normal. I am going to pursue further action against this defect due to the fact that it is electrical in nature.
