Honda had a silent recall for this well known problem but it only covered the paint for five years after the date of the vehicle.Mine expired in 2016 and I had no idea this was a problem until I asked Honda about it.The dealer told me it is a problem but I am past the recall time.I have never owned a car that the paint faded and the clear coat was chipping and peeling.I always kept the car washed and waxed.I had to spray a clear paint on it to stop the progression and it looks horrible.
I have a 1990 Ford that looks new.Why is Honda being such an idiot about this ? My fourth and last Honda.
