Again, the car drove just fine the day before. I got into the car to go to work and it would not start. I had to call Triple A again to tow car to repair shop (Don's Service Center).

This time it took all week to repair as a part had to be ordered from another city. I quote again the invoice:

"we pushed the vehicle into the shop to confirm symptom. Technician assessed and discovered not fuel pressure reaching the engine. Fuel pump was off line. Pinpoint testing confirmed rodent damage to harness at connector."

In fact a whole new harness and connector were ordered and the fuel line had to be repaired.

The supposedly rodent deterrent tape that had been tried on previous repairs had obviously not worked. I was told by the mechanic that any rate they could not possibly re-wrap all electrical wires with new non-soy based insulation tape.

It was suggested I try spraying the car with predator urine to deter rodents. I am now spraying red fox urine on the underside of the car and on the tires and on the ground around where my car is parked in the somewhat dim hope that that might help...and I try parking in different spots at varying distances from my home to try to fool the critters.

I purchased my car brand new, had for 2 1/2 years or so, last month I started getting a problem where car won't start but lights and everything come on. This will happen at the most random of times if I've been driving it all day or if it's been sitting, doesn't matter. I took it to Honda in Lawrence, MA, they held it for 2 days, couldn't discover the issue. They told me to just buy a battery but when they tested my battery it was fine and fully working. They basically said we don't know what to tell you but if you wanna buy a battery it will be $150.

I just want a solution rather than buying a new battery and having the same problem and wasting my money. Car only has 40k on it and shouldn't be happening. I'm very disappointed no one could fix this as I paid a lot for this vehicle. If it is not fixed and no one at Honda can help, I honestly will never buy a brand new Honda again. Everyone raves about the reliability of Honda, unfortunately, I get stranded places and I'm stuck there until someone jumps me and they always ask "why do you need a jump, it's a 2012 Honda".

I'm growing tired of this situation, if someone can help steer me in the right direction that would be great, thanks a lot.
