Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

We were stopped in traffic, seat belts were fastened, turn signal on, and we were rear-ended by a work van moving at very high speed. Our car was totaled. The front seats were broken due to the impact. No airbags deployed. Not front, not side.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while the vehicle was on, in neutral or while driving, there was an extremely strong vibration. The contact mentioned that the failure was getting progressively worst. The vehicle was taken to multiple dealers, who were not able to replicate and diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was to send a regional representative from their company to inspect the failure but the contact received no follow up and was uncertain if the manufacturer would be able to provide a permanent remedy for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 900. Updated 05/04/16

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while driving, the sun reflected strongly on the instrument panel directly at the computer digital area, which abstracted the contact's view. The contact had to pull over several times on the road shoulder to regain sight. The contact was concerned that he may cause a crash due to the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however; the dealer advised they were unable to correct the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.
