Windshield replaced last summer after a large rock impact and 12 inches crack, payed by car insurance. This time, a very small rock, little tick on impact, and windshield cracked over 6 inches!! Impact barely visible. While looking at the crack, glass is very thin, obviously cheap and flimsy. This shouldn't be, and will cost me a lot.

Dealer says they have have no such complaints. Still, first time I see such a small impact destroy a windshield. My old Jetta had 7 impacts on the windshield, many larger than this, but resulted in no cracks at all. They all could be repaired. I hope that the rest of the parts of this car are not made in low quality like this.

This is the third windshield I have had to replace on this car. I replaced one windshield the middle of September just 5 weeks ago.

I do not tailgate or follow people too closely. Both of these incidents occurred in routine drive home traffic.

The cost of a windshield is $1,000 and the required Honda sense costs $300.00. So on a $25,000 car on the first three years the costs of windshields is going to be $3,600!

I want the Honda windshield and the calibration because the cruise control system which I use a lot will not work unless you buy a Honda windshield and have it calibrated.
