Ridgeline RTS 3.5L V6

I just noticed that this was a problem for someone else. The odometer is not reading the mileage properly. The mileage/trip indication is reading/flashing in and out. Looks like a growing problem; just started over the weekend. Now wondering if it had anything to do with the other problem; the D light indicator is blinking (not often but it does it from time to time) when you shift the truck out of park and into drive. I have checked all the wiring (that I can see) and all the fuses and pushed all to make sure that they are seated/housed properly. To be continued! I'm scheduling a trip to the dealer this week!

This vehicle has only 25k in miles, it is only 3yrs and 7mos in my possession so warranty is out. The cluster display is failing. This tracks and displays the odometer, temp. trip etc. This is not a part that would be damaged or worn out from use but rather a defective piece. Honda is willing to contribute only $500.00 but not take care of it all. Moreover, Honda and the dealer insist that regulatory requirements (no one knows the agency that oversees this, though) cause me to spend an additional $180 over the part replacement cost of $980 to have the mileage set to what it currently is. I bought a Honda to have a vehicle that I could trust built by a company that was willing to stand behind it's product. Big mistake on my part. No more Hondas and to think I used to recommend this vehicle to truck owners.
