All four bolts broke while attempting to remove them. The head breaks off of the top, you can then lift off the air cleaner cover, remove the air cleaner and the broken bolt shafts protrude up from the lower lip. I used vice grips and they are SO hard to turn! Also used Liquid wrench to try to unfreeze the rust. The air cleaner container is plastic. The metal bolt (use stainless steel!) is just steel, somehow got wet and rusted. All four of them! There is a metal insert in the lower plastic container that is threaded. The bolt screws down into this. There is NO DRAIN HOLE beneath this insert! They drilled a hole into the plastic and failed to drill them deeply enough to allow them to drain water. BAD DESIGN!
Either provide a drain hole or use stainless steel inserts & bolts. One or the other!
