Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

once again trouble with fuel system. we had to drive 250 km to find a Jeep dealer who could diagnose the problem. they just cleaned the whole system.

this was the second time I had trouble with the fuel pump. finally a non-jeep mechanic identified the problem and the pump was replaced by a non Jeep pump. the operation cost me 12.5% of what jeep charged me a few years earlier and this new non-Jeep fuel pump is still going well.

this vehicle had given us lots of problem for over a year...engine cut out when you want to drive cross a street and get stuck in the middle of a busy street. Jeep never found the problem before...blaming some sensor at the exhaust system. It was only fixed a long time later when they replaced a very expensive fuel pump. this problem came back later....
