I have been concerned about the braking system as the shoes were cracked and needed to be replaced at 5745 miles. At 12503 miles the rotors needed to be resurfaced. Now at 15, 200 miles I still feel a vibration upon applying the brakes and the service department has been very patronizing. They state it's my tires. The Goodyear tire dealer stated that if there is vibration upon applying the brakes it is not the tires but it is the brakes. The service department at action motors has been stalling me so that the car reaches 18000 miles and will be ineligible for the lemon law return. I believe there are other Jeep owners with the same problem. I've spoken to several Jeep owners and they stated they had the same problem.. unfortunately I did not get anyone's names and addresses but I believe that the NHTSA should investigate all the service records of the Jeep Cherokee to ascertain how many persons had problems with the braking system. Thank you rosalie cicogna.
