My transmission is not shifting right. Kicking everytime shifting. The vehicle loss power.

At around 40,000 miles, touch screen/radio would randomly shut off and on, and service shifter comes on intermittently. Sometimes stays on constantly, sometimes comes on and off. Very frustrating as numerous people have reported these issues all over the internet, but Jeep has done absolutely nothing about it. Some reports even mention injuries involved in the issue. No vehicle should have these issues this commonly at a very acceptable low mileage.

There has been multiple times where I have been driving my car and all of a sudden my car will ding and an alarm on my screen pops up that says 'service shifter' and all of lights on my gear shifter turn on. I have been driving everytime it has happened. I can no longer see my screen where it shows speed, gas, tire pressure, oil, or anything. The only way to turn it off is to turn my car off and back on and sometimes I have been on an interstate where that wasn't possible to do immediately. I have tried contacting dealerships but nobody knows what is happening.

The service shifter lights comes on. I had the same problem last year in may and they stated they fixed the problem. Now I am having the same service light to come on. The light comes on while I am driving. But not every time. I am not sure exactly what they fixed but obviously they either really didn't fix the problem or put on bad parts

Upon slowing down around 20 mph the vehicle starts to accelerate requiring a harder press on the brake. If I let off the gas around 40 mph the vehicle maintains speed before it starts to accelerate. Eventually the vehicle will jolt and the service transmission light comes on putting it in a limp mode with little forward momentum when pressing the gas. The dealer said its the ABS control module but the factory wouldn't replace it because the dealer couldn't prove it was bad. At that point the 2015 kl trailhawk had around 33000 34000 miles on it and still under warranty.

Stereo system: System remain on and can not turn it off, whether vehicle is running or stopped. I have removed keys from ignition, gotten out of car, shut doors and system remains on and it has stayed on anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. I have had this problem since purchase of vehicle.

Vehicle was in motion when it left the road. I swerved to miss a dog. I had my seatbelt on during this accident however my head (top, right front of my head) hit the windshield glass and the glass broke/shattered. My hair was caught in the broken cracks of the glass on the windshield and my hair was pulled out of my head, I guess when the seatbelt pulled me back into position it managed to keep my hair lodged. I got small pieces of glass out of my scalp for a week. I had other injuries as well. Every single airbag of this car was deployed and my vehicle a total loss. I was only going around 45 mph. I am thankful to be here sharing this passage. I just have tried to figure out how I managed to hit the windshield while my seatbelt was on my body and the airbags deployed.

I have warning lights keep flashing out of control 3 lights keep staying on that is tire pressure system and check engine and start stop system, put a code reader on vehicle and it says transmission module my car will rev up while I N gear hesitate and then jerk real fast and start going super fast without my foot on gas. When I shift the gears into reverse from park or put in park it makes a loud clunk noise and shifts hard. Also the tailgate when opening will open up and immediately shut on me and has hit my head a few times and tried shutting with me in the way. I've reported problems to the dealership several times they send me to a dealership for Jeep and they tell me battery needs reset and sent me on my way and I asked to have transmission looked at and they have no transmission tech. While in motion ill take my foot off gas to slow down when coming to a corner or stop and it will speed up on its own causing me to slam breaks quickly. I feel unsafe in this vehicle. Im not the first owner I was financed through bud clary and they can never help me always send me to ncchords Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealership if there is any availability appointments. The issues I have with vehicle are continuous. Really stared bad with lights a few weeks ago. Had car serviced for reg service date on 11th and they couldn't help with my issues recommends me make appointment with other dealership. Ill put the issues with car when its been a everyday occurrence to thus last may on 1st. I bought car almost 1 yr ago and have had problems since day 1 June 27th 2019.

I purchased may Jeep Cherokee in December 2017. On the first hot day of May 2020, I went into my car, and noticed the dashboard area along with the vents, had began to melt! it was hot outside, but this is not the first time that my car has been sitting in the sun. When I touched the vent, my fingers were covered in this black, gooey substance. Not only is the interior of my car destroyed, but my concern is whether this substance is hazardous. Are there chemicals in the paint or any toxic elements? I have showed the photos of the problem to many people. And everyone has the same answer, which is, "I have never seen anything like this before." I contacted the dealership, where I purchased my Jeep. My agent is currently looking into this. The second problem involves the shifter. All of the lights are lit up. I have already had an incident where I thought I was in "park" but it turned out I was in reverse. I found multiple complaints and concerns about this problem in my research.

The service shifter light comes on more and more frequently. It only comes on while I am driving. If I shut the Jeep off and turn it back on it temporarily disappears. It doesn't matter if I'm going 10 miles or 70 miles, it randomly comes on. I have taken it to a Jeep dealership and they can not do anything for me unless I drive it there with the light still on. I know numerous people have reported this problem. Why is there not a recall" does it have something to do with the cruise control recall or the wiring harness that wears out for the gear shifter???"

Oct. 2019: Blaring radio, U-connect system failure (battery replaced)-garage at home and local Suburban area Dec. 2019: Radio volume control didn't work, mute button didn't work, mute button unmuted itself (twice in a 5-7 minute period), volume adjusting up and down on its own-happened 8:10 am Jan. 2020: Audio stuck on religious station, but info screen blank-black (9:45 am and 10:10 am. Happened after I stopped to get gas at a Suburban location) March 2020: Radio unmuted itself multiple times on its own and when I pressed the mute button-it didn't work (suburbs) March 2020: Am-unable to adjust volume-stuck followed by blaring volume after I had turned the volume button down. Later-same day-radio station changed to a religious station (not the station I had on previously) air pressure light goes on constantly start and stop system message goes on and off constantly this Jeep has just over 36,000 miles. Radio incidences have occurred both while sitting stationary and while driving.

I was driving on the freeway going 60 miles per hour when L heard a loud bang. My car shook violently causing me to swerve. I then heard the wind coming in from my moonroof. I immediately pulled off the freeway to assess what had happened. There was a huge hole in my moonroof with the rest of the glass protruding upward. Nothing hit my moonroof it had exploded.

On at least 10 occasions from Aug 2017 - Feb 2020, while driving the 2015 Jeep Cherokee, the gear shift would light up and the display would indicate "service shifter." The warning light would disappear once the vehicle was turned off and could not be replicated on command for a mechanic to evaluate.

Service shifter light came on at 86,000 miles, went off after turning my vehicle off. Took to the dealership and they see nothing wrong, no codes, nothing. It jerks a lot when at slow speeds pulling out somewhere and going down a hill.
