My check engine light came on and the garage told me it was carbon on the sensor and not to worry about it as they reset it. A couple of weeks later it came on again. I was told to try Jeep's in vehicle diagnostic by turning the key on and off 3 times and write down the codes.
I did this and was surprised how easy it was. When I came out of my drive way all of a sudden my vehicle went into 4wd low as I was getting up to 45-50 mph. I tried getting the T-handle to go up/down to get it out of low. Finally I was able to reset it by pressing a paper clip into the reset.
But now my Service 4wd light is lit and I'm afraid I've done damage to my 4wd. I'm scheduling an appointment to have it looked.
