After having an extended warranty through 100k miles with my local credit union, I was told that the warranty had covered 100k miles or 5 years which ever became first.
Last month, while driving back from a shopping task I noticed the dash indicated the vehicle was running hot. I took to a near auto repair shop, Garry Auto Repair Shop. The shop owner checked and said I need a thermostat. I left my 2010 Jeep Commander there; and my nephew took me home. The next Garry Tinsley, called and told me my vehicle was ready for pick up. I went and picked it up, drove it home; and the next day the overheating problem surfaced again. I called Garry and said to bring it back to his shop. After he checked it again, he said I had a water pump problem. I had the water pump replaced; and he said he did a radiator pressure test and the pressure was high so I needed a radiator. I bought anew radiator and was later told that I had a head gasket problem with the engine. What the !*#!.
