While on the freeway, the entire dashboard LIT UP! The fuel gauge went to empty--the tank was full; the engine, airbag, and oil sensors flashed and went crazy spinning and the air conditioning stopped working. Took it in to the Elk Grove Jeep dealership. They were unable to find or duplicate the incident. Instead, the decided it was time for the 120K mile service and performed that.
On 06/18/2015, the same thing happened again. I took it to the dealership. Asked them specifically to test the control power module as this has been recalled in all other Jeep models except the 2005. Again, the service department has been unable to duplicate the problem. I feel in the "twilight zone" and fear the transmission will be affected and I will be left stranded. As of today, they still have my car and they did not provide a loaner!!
