With no warning at all, my temperature gauge just shot up. I had just come to a stop. I was at a diesel mechanic shop and he said he did not think the fan was blowing. I left and went to a autozone about a mile away and changed the fan in the parking lot. Started back on the road and within a few mins it was back up again.
I pulled over and let it cool down and went back to the autozone got a thermostat and water pump. Changed it in the parking lot. While idle the liberty did not overheat but driving it pinged right back up.
I then replaced the radiator and radiator cap thinking that is the only thing left except the head gaskets,
Well it was not those either so now it is sitting waiting till I can come up with the money to have it fixed!
NO WARNING AT ALL!
