Clunking sound from front driveshaft out of transfer case. Boot had failed and CV joint was failing. New front driveshaft would have been expensive. Bought new cv joint, about $50, that came with joint, grease and boot. Wish Jeep would have used a u joint like the rear driveshaft has.

Noticed a cv boot leaking. Took it to the dealer because of a noise from same area. They replaced the whole axle, boot, and all. Love that Chrysler extended warranty. I think it's called the 5000 part warranty or something.
