The mechanic said that this Jeep has a TIMP problem which seem to control all the electrical things locks, wipers alarm

This part is very hard to locate even on back order at the dealer SO WHY IS THERE NOT A RECALL ON THIS PART!!!!

LOVE THE LOOK AND THE DRIVE BUT THE CAR GOES BERSERK WHENEVER IT FEELS LIKE IT; HORN BLOWING WIPERS GOING AND AT TIMES SHUT OFF. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?

My child and I was locked inside the Jeep and could not get out the security system on the power locks failed. I had to have AAA get us out. Thankfully I had a phone to call for help. The dealer had to recode the system $250 that does not include my AAA bill
