Drivers side chair is cloth fabric. Had car for less then 2 years and most of my driving is highway out of state driving. I took it to Jeep dealer and they told me that it is the design of the chair and have seen this before.
My warranty had expired approx 6 months and I was over 36000 miles by 600 due to being out of state. They refused to replace saying that it is normal wear and tear when calling the 1 800 number. Never seen any car that I have previously had with more than 100,000 and over 10 years old with this problem. I have had friends with Jeeps that are older and more mileage with no problems. Do not think Material is durable for this automobile and chair design. To have replace at least $500.00 and have taken this to 3 different shops and they have agreed this is not normal for a Jeep 3 years old.
