I bought the Jeep into 2011 and that same year, not even a month after I bought it, they had to replace the transmission because it was making a loud winding sound. Now the transmission only has 30,000 miles on it and it was slipping and today I get up to go to work and I back out of the driveway, it wouldn't go anywhere. I proceeded to put it back in park and go back in drive the shifter was stuck in park but the gear was in neutral. Thank God it happened at my house because I was stuck in the middle of the road and my fiancé had to push me back up in the driveway with his vehicle. I called Gator Chrysler Plymouth and let them know that three years ago they replace my transmission and now that it's slipping and won't come out of neutral, they said they had no record of replacing the transmission and I can't find any paperwork that I know they did it. It was a manufacturer's defect and they had to do it, besides that I have notified them of the problem before my 30 days.
