I returned from a trip and my car wouldn't start on 3/5/18, so it had to be jumped. Then several weeks later, I noticed my interior lights stayed on quite awhile after locking my car from the door lock button in the driver's door. I kept going back and checking to see the interior lights were left on. Finally I went in the house and googled the problem with my Jeep with the year and make. I found that several owner's were having this same problem and the only way to reduce the length of time the interior light stayed on and avoid a dead battery was to lock the door with the key from the outside of the car. (This can only be done on the driver's doom since noon of the other doors have a key hole)
