The back hatch will pop back open if you close it. Many have tried different levels of effort and it still pops open. Have tried turning on the engine and then trying to close it..still pops open. Have tried a series of different doors being opened and closed, but the hatch still pops open...and the dash says the hatch is not closed. Been going on since the week I picked up the lease disaster. It does not happen all the time. Have many, many witnesses. There may be a correlation between opening the driver door and opening and closing the locks, starting and turning off vehicle to get the hatch to shut. Typically takes 10 to 20 minutes to get it to close appropriately.
I could post this complaint at least twenty to forty times.
This problem is intermittent. No correlation to weather, heat/cold, Cold or hot start. Have not checked to see if it correlates to a full moon...though it happens more often than full moons occur.
