There is a on-going definite problem with the windshield of this Jeep's. I have had the vehicle for 2 years and had (4) cracks to the windshield. I picked it up on Thursday from the dealership to have the windshield replaced. On Sunday a small rock hit it and cracked it again. I am contacting consumer protection or whoever else may be able to assist.

I encourage anyone who is having this issue to log in and record their information.

This is not only an annoyance but is a safety issue!

I've only had the car for 6 weeks and while driving a small rock hit my windshield caused it to splinter. Within 8 hours it grew and continued to grow the next day. The whole windshield needs to be replaced which is going to cost about $1,000.00. I will go through my insurance and pay the $500.00 deductible. The windshield is on back order and I have no idea how long it's going to take to come in. The crack keeps getting bigger.

We bought this vehicle december 31, 2015 (as a grad present). One week after having it I get a ding in the windshield. I thought my rotten luck! Paid Safelight $50 to repair. The next week another ding....again safelight $50 to repair. Now I'm thinking....hmmmm.... 2 weeks after that a small stone hit the passenger side glass it shattered the corner and began to spread rapidly. So now I'm like...okay something is up with the glass! I take back to dealership. They tell me sorry can't help you! Just an unlucky coincidence go see your car insurance agent..BYE! So I do, they tell me to go to a glass place. I did...turns out there is a one month back order on this windshield (can you say red flag???) So I called Jeep to tell them this issue and that I will need a rental due to the long wait and I cannot afford the 20% not covered by my insurance. I have been told Jeep cannot help me and I must get a rental myself or do without. My Jeep is not drivable after the 4th..Yes I said 4th crash to my windshield. This time by a small bird hitting me in heavy traffic. I had to drive 2 hours with my head tilted to the left so I could see around the damaged glass! Praying I would not get hit again and the whole thing come crashing into my face!!! I now have anxiety about even getting back into the vehicle. This is so dangerous and no one will listen to me!
