In reference to tipm recall. While driving, the horn will blow nonstop, as well as windshield wipers engage, fluid sprays nonstop onto windshield, A/C will not blow, engine has shut off spontaneously which caused a truck to lightly bump me in an intersection. Selling dealership (hebert's town and country shreveport, la) will not fix. youtu.be/ryjxvng4C8I.

Driving home after work at night on the interstate, approx. 75mph, the windshield washer and wipers come on and the horn starts blowing continuously and wont stop, I pulled off on the closest freeway exit and pulled off the road and shut off the engine, but even with removing the key from the ignition switch it continued to run with the washers, wipers and horn going....after several attempts turning the ignition switch on and off the motor finally stopped running but the washers, wipers and horn continued until I disconnected the battery...after reconnecting the battery everything went back to normal and functioned normally for several months, but recently has started acting like its possessed again...took it to the local dealer(chapmen Dodge and they were unable to find any issue even after I told them it sounds like the tipm, and from what I have researched this is an ongoing issue with Chrysler, they said they would replace it for $1000 but it may not be the problem.....

While driving approx. 55 mph down paved road Jeep suddenly began constant horn honk, wipers started going, every dash light came on(ABS, engine, airbag, etc). This continued for about 1 minute then stopped. We turned around to go back home and about 2 minutes later same thing began again. The second time, along with above symptoms, we began to lose power and were unable to accelerate to maintain speed. We pulled off to the side of the road and turned key off. Horn, and wipers kept going. Then the windshield wiper sprayers started spraying continuously. We were unable to start Jeep at this time. This went on for about 3 minutes and finally stopped. Jeep then started and we were able to drive home.

While driving at night, the horn, front wipers, washers, rear wipers, and reverse lights all came on without warning. Pulled to side of road and turned off car but engine did not turn off. Opened hood and hit top of T.I.P.M. (totally integrated power module). Horn, wipers, washers, and engine stopped. This is a common problem with 2007-2009 Wrangler that Jeep fails to accept. It is unsafe because you cannot stop the engine or see where you are going when the washer fluid starts running. This is the 3rd time in 2 years this has done this.
