The contact owns a 2010 Lexus LS460. While driving at any speed, the vehicle hesitated whenever the contact attempted to accelerate. The rpms increased and the vehicle made a growling noise, but did not accelerate. There was no warning indicator. The failure recurred several times and the vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the issue was normal for a new vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and ordered the local dealer to perform extended diagnostic testing on the vehicle. The dealer was unable to remedy the failure.
