Mercedes repair said when they took the suspension filter off, water came out which meant somewhere there was a leak in the closed system allowing water to seep in or there was a crack in suspension air bag. Could replace filter and pump for $1800 but no guarantee that there wasn't damage to air bags and problem would still be there. Said the air bags are in a closed system and to really fix the problem, everything should be replaced - filter, pump, air bags for $7,000.00. Seems like there's a lot of other people who have had similar problem. Defect??? Interestingly, couple years ago I had an SBC /hydrolic brake issue on the same car. Did some research and found others with same issue, however Mercedes wasn't doing anything about it. In August of this year I get an Extended Warranty Coverage Addendum for the same. Getting my $1600 repair bill refunded.
