Summary
?SUBJECT Service Action: Program Control Units (DME) . A Check Control Message could intermittently be displayed indicating a Start/Stop Function failure. Vehicle may not restart after stopping. The following fault is stored in the DME: Fault 20BA20: clutch switch, signal: missing In addition the BDC may have the following fault stored: Fault 804084: clutch switch, plausibility fault compared to CAN signal This can occur if for example 14 gears changes are made, but the upper clutch position switch is only activated 10 times. This difference could occur when the clutch pedal is not being fully released between gear shifts or by resting a foot on the pedal so the upper switch position is not recognized.
