My wife was driving the car and got behind a tractor and had to slow down, when she slowed down the car stalled and the windows and door locks quit functioning, after a while the car restarted and ran for a little bit and did the same thing again. HELP is there anyone out there with a solution.

My Bonneville stalls while driving, try to restart and only turns over, then 3 minutes or so later it starts right up. Then after running for a while, I turn it off , perhaps run into a convenience store try to start again and it won't start then give it another 3 minute rest and immediately starts up. It is not showing any codes when tested. One mechanic thinks its the sock around the fuel pump????

Can anyone help me out on this, it seems impossible and i love the car otherwise. Thank You

1994 Pontiac Bonneville keeps stalling while we are driving. I'm worried that it may cause an accident. We have had the sensors replaced, filters, and checked for electrical problems. There was one electrical problem with the altenator, it was incorrectly wired over the motor.
Left it at the auto shop, they drove it for a long time and it never did it to them. Diagnostics showed that there wasn't a problem. There must be something wrong.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and what did you do to fix it.

Car stalls while driving most of the time when you take your foot of the gas.
Have replaced the oxygen / EGR / crank sensor / Gas filter and gas lines. Tried replacing the computer, problem still there. Have had to garage 3 times,They even checked for broken wires
said there is nothing showing wrong. Have no idea where to go next can anyone help.

for the past year my car just stops while driving... many close calls by nearly being rear ended. i took it into the dealer & they said it was the battery.... so of course after the $250 bill that was not the problem!!! i took it back and they had it for 5 days and said nothing was wrong....then again for 3 days always approx. 3 weeks apart... the last time i took it in they said oh yeah it now stops for them too... said it was the oxygen sensor. it was ok for nearly a week...WOW!!! it is right back to the same thing. seems to die more often while waiting at a stop light but will still just die while driving... anyone know what the problem is? thought the dealers would, but no luck with them... help!!!! thanks
