Belt broke on supercharger, demolished pulleys. mechanic said that the bearings in the supercharger assembly blew out, causing the assembly to lock up. Gas mileage went down significantly.

belt on supercharged engine broke, which destroyed pulley, which made gas mileage drop from about 25/29 to 19/22 per gal.
