I made the horrible mistake of purchasing two of the G6's ( 2005 ) ... A consumer night-mare and a horrible auto. Made in Mexico and unsafe. Both cars have had the same problems, not only ours, but I have actually met many owners and read extensive articles and blogs relating to the same problems. We had both cars experience shaking when coming to a stop, always from day one, even after a break job or should I say break jobs at 45,000, new steering shafts, new rotors, 3 set of tires and a dash board the sounds like a pop corn maker when driving. Its a LEMON... It is not a sound car and unsafe to drive! The dealer even said the breaks will always sound like that! I just drove a 07-G6 that had 20K on it and that needed a steering shaft, also made in MEXICO and the dealer car. By the way! What is an after market product in your mind? I would consider that car to be one and all their parts as well. Buyer beware! This is why American cars and industries are going down.. CEO ,, get off your lazy ass and fix what is a lemon... I will be doing all in my power to alert the public and the consumer! Two cars same problems and its not an issue to you all? IT WLIL BE!
