I first gotten the car at a used dealership on June 8, 2013. I started hearing clunking noises from the front left drivers side. I took it in to get checked. The dealer stated there was nothing wrong but I knew there was so I took it in again. The problem was supposed to be fixed which was the lower control arms on both sides of the vehicle and also tie rod ends and alignment.

Also when I bought the car, the tread on the tires were only 1/4" and I questioned them and they stated it was alright that way. Many times after the control arms and etc were fixed I had other issues with the vehicle. In less than 1 year of having the car it was in the shop getting fixed over 15 times.

Then in October of 2014 the clunking was back in the left front tire area. I was told that the front lower control arms had to be fixed again. I have contacted the dealer where I bought the car and get different answers all the time. I never have been told they will fix the problem the right way. I am afraid to drive my car and to get it fixed again will be very costly to me. I do not know what to do and my new tires on the car all of them are no good. But to fix it again it will cost me over $1000 and I am on a fixed income and make huge payments on this car. I do not know what to do anymore.

I just ended up replacing one of my strut bearings on my 2007 Pontiac G6 upon hearing a clunking while turning the wheel of my vehicle but before doing that repair also had another clunking over bumps. Anyways I fixed the strut, bearing, and fixed steering wheel clunk but can still hear the other clunk noise when hitting bumps, believe it's a ball or CV but could also be a tie rod being as I just replace the front strut and strut bearing.

Anybody have any advice, I am not willing to pay GM or a sh*tty dealer another cent on diagnostics or repairs for this vehicle. They are a waste of time money and are not honest, would just like a confirmation as to if it could possibly be the tie rod before I start replacing ball joints?
