I purchased my G6 in 2008. Three months later I had a squishing sound in the front every time I hit the slightest bump. Took it to dealership and they said I was imaging it. Called Pontiac and they called dealership about fixing the problem. They THOUGHT it was fixed, but until this day does the same only when hitting a larger bump. I have had the tie rods and ball joints replaced at 57000 miles because the were totally worn. Now I am having problems with the wheel bearings. Not to even mention the replacement of brakes, rotors and tires every year. I will never buy from the dealership again and so glad there are more more Pontiacs.
