The worst problem was that the back connector on the light bezel was stuck and the plastic broke before it would let go. Once loose, the pigtail was easy to replace.

Have put three leadlight bulbs in. the light works intermittently and is normally out. problem is, mechanic has looked at it and says it is a short in the headlight and the whole unit needs replaced. 400.00 repair with installation. the so called bumper to bumper warrantee does not cover this. Several owners are complaining of the same thing across the internet and pontiac has not done anything to rectify the problem
